Position Qualification
Position Summary
The Schott Lab at the University of Nebraska Medical Center is seeking a Research Instructor to study lipid droplets and their role in liver disease. Our goal is to explore new molecular mechanisms governing autophagy and lipolysis of lipid droplets during hepatic steatosis, liver injury, and liver cancer.
We are seeking enthusiastic candidates with research interests in one or more of the following areas: cell biology, high resolution light and electron microscopy, live-cell imaging, bioimage analysis, lipid biochemistry, liver disease, cancer, and/or animal models of metabolic disease. High importance will be placed on aiding the successful candidate toward achieving future career goals.
