Minimum qualifications are a master's degree in health promotion, public health, health communication or related discipline prior to the start date.
Position Summary
The Department of Health Promotion and Behavior (HPB) in the College of Public Health, University of Georgia, invites applications for a non-tenure track Instructor position. The position is an academic year appointment (9 months) with an opportunity to supplement salary during the summer.
The successful candidate will teach primarily undergraduate courses in the Health Promotion & Behavior (HPB) department. The position will be 100% instruction. Applicants should be able to teach topics including, but not limited to: program planning and evaluation, E-portfolio creation, technical writing for public health, community health and wellness, and health disparities. The University of Georgia has a widely respected Center for Teaching and Learning for pedagogical enhancement that will be available for course development and instructional support.

Preference will be given to candidates with a completed doctoral degree.

Preferred qualifications include demonstrated excellence in undergraduate instruction, and ability to integrate emerging technology into classroom instruction.
