These vacancies are located at the Acadiana Center for Youth in Bunkie, Louisiana.

The incumbents of these positions will be assigned to Acadiana Center for Youth's Education Department with instructional duties at Acadiana Center Youth or Acadiana Center for Youth - St. Martinville.

The incumbents will serve as content teachers for Secondary Education Certified Instructor or Temporary Authority to Teach or Eligibility for a TAT core subject matters: Science, Social Studies, Math, or Language Arts. The Incumbent works 7.5 hours per work day.

Use techniques which develop lesson objectives.

Use available curriculum materials and equipment in the teaching / learning process.

Present accurate subject matter and relate relevant examples.  The Incumbents will serve as content teachers for Secondary Certified Education Core subject matters: Science, Social Studies, Math, and Language Arts.
