Instructor Skills RN PT PRN

• Facilitates assigned clinical educational events/skills training of RNs and other clinical professionals, including running, evaluating, and debriefing clinical scenarios developed by Education Specialist.

• Assists with development of skills training for RNs and other clinical professionals as needed.

• Assists with processing of paperwork and completion of rubrics, evaluations and outcomes of educational events.

• Assists with educational events/skills set up prior to, breakdown and clean-up after and maintenance of simulators.

• Maintains technical/professional skills.

• Attends required training for facilitating assigned educational events/skills stations.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education, Credentials, Licenses:

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program

• Current RN license to practice nursing in the state where work is being performed.

• Meets contact hour requirements, including all state-required courses.

Specialized Knowledge:

• Excellent communication skills, be able to work independently and have skill in working and collaborating as part of a team.

• Knowledge of adult education principles and Instructional media.

Kind and Length of Experience:

• One year experience including professional RN practice.
