Job Description:

Knowledge

• Technical/Professional Knowledge of the fundamentals and principles of Industrial Electricity and Electrical troubleshooting and repair. This includes Electrical control systems, motor control systems and drives. Electrical prints including ladder logic and schematics.

• Knowledge of the National Electric Code.

Essential Functions:

• Per Article 7.0 of the OFA contract

Skills:

• Must be able to speak to groups.

• Have the skills needed to demonstrate the functions of an Electrician and electrical repairs.

• Must be able to evaluate student performance.

• Must be able to demonstrate tasks in related field.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associate degree or two-year technical certificate and able to achieve AAS in Technical area at time of employment.

• Must be Journeyperson Electrician.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience teaching electrical courses.

• Experience programming PLC's.

• Experience in robotics.
