The Department of Modern Languages and Literatures in the College of Arts and Humanities at the University of Central Florida (UCF) invites applications for two twelve-month, non-tenure earning instructor or lecturer positions in TESOL. One position will start in summer 2019 and one position will begin in fall 2019.
The successful candidates will teach primarily lower level language classes in English for Academic Purposes. Teaching assignments will consist of 10 classes per year, plus related tasks such as evaluating student progress, maintaining contact with our partner organization regarding student progress, serving on UCF committees, and other duties as assigned.

Position Minimum Qualifications
A master's degree (for an instructor) or terminal degree (for a lecturer) in TESOL or a related discipline from an accredited institution at the time of appointment.
Preference will be given to candidates who have demonstrated excellence in teaching English for Academic Purposes courses or Intensive English classes. Experience in web-based instructional media is strongly desired. We seek individuals who have demonstrated excellence in working with international students and have proven collaborative skills functioning on a teaching team and with international organizations.
