Instructor Of Writing And Academic Advisor

The Humanities Department at Baker University invites applications for an Instructor of Writing and Academic Advisor position. The successful candidate will teach six sections of writing-intensive courses each year, with four of those sections being EN100:

Basic Composition. The courses will be taught in person on the Baldwin City, Kansas, campus. The position also will provide academic advising for approximately 25 to 30 first-year students. This is a nine-month, full-time position with benefits.

Job Requirements

A master's degree or higher in English, composition and rhetoric, or a related field is required, as well as at least one year of teaching experience at the college level.
