The Computer Science and Technology department of SUNY Orange invites applications from diverse individuals with a strong commitment to excellence in teaching, as well as student learning and success to teach part-time during the day.
We are seeking individuals to teach a variety of Computer Science and Technical courses including computer literacy, software packages (e.g. adobe), programming (C++, Java, Python, Assembler), databases, data communications and networking, network security, operating systems (Windows, Linux), system administration, and cybersecurity.
Teaching assignments may be in person or remote at either of our campus locations.
Education Required: Master's Degree in a Technical Field
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Worker Characteristics:
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
Experience mentoring students
