Instructor, Art

The Art Instructor will teach a variety of Art courses. These courses are taught in the day, evening, and/or online and may include Dual Enrollment, Early College High School, or correctional facilities.

The Art Instructor will report to the Department Chair for Commercial Music, Visual and Performing Arts. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

A Master's degree from a regionally accredited postsecondary institution with 18 graduate semester credit hours in the teaching area.

Experience working professionally with students, faculty, and staff members.

Experience in planning, scheduling, and managing projects and assignments.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, speak, listen, and see. The employee is occasionally required to sit, lift, pull, and carry

Preferred Qualifications

Teaching experience at a 2-year college or university.

Prior Blackboard experience.
