Instructional Tutor (2024-2025) - Riverview Opportunity Center (Roc)

"This position is for the 2024-2025 school year.

ROC is looking for an Instructional Tutor to assist in the implementation of education programs by providing comprehensive assessments, evaluations, and instruction to meet the needs of parents and children. This will include working with both Bullitt Advanced Math and Science (BAMS) the Career Readiness Center (CRC).

This position is for 7 hours per day and 183 days per year.
(170 student instructional days, 4 holidays, 7 planning days and 2 extended days)
Contracted days will be adjusted depending upon start date.

Must have 64 college credit hours and a 2.5 GPA and provide a copy to HR upon recommendation to hire.

Step 0: $23.33 per hour
Step 10: $25.55 per hour

New employees to the district may bring in up to 10 years of comparable, full-time, verified experience.
(NOTE: It will be the responsibility of the applicant hired to submit the BCPS verification of experience form to their prior employer to complete and return to HR.)

Although Classified positions are paid on an hourly rate, salary is set up on a year long contract and divided by number of remaining paychecks. This position is considered a ten month employee on the pay schedule. 4 paychecks will be paid at the end of June.

hours per day x hourly rate = daily rate
daily rate x contracted days = salary
salary / # of pays left = gross biweekly pay
