JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Instructional Technology Resource Teacher will implement goals/objectives/strategies that support the technology competencies for teachers, administrators, and students. This will occur through the following Performance Responsibilities:
Modeling effective instructional strategies using technology
Assist with curriculum development as it relates to educational technology
Working collaboratively with individual or groups of teachers to integrate technology into instruction
Disseminating information regarding technology resources, best practices using technology, and professional development opportunities
Facilitating or conducting technology-related professional development
Assisting with the creation of learning resources for teachers and students
Other duties as assigned by supervisor (Supervisor of Innovation, Digital Learning, and Professional Development) as it relates to Instructional Technology
QUALIFICATIONS:
A valid teaching license
At least 2 years of successful teaching and classroom management experience
Knowledge of curriculum, instructional strategies, and the Standards of Learning Program
Knowledge and proficient user of computers and related technology
Skill for integrating technology with curriculum
Ability to maintain a good working relationship with others
Effective interpersonal and organizational skills
Ability to articulate and adapt communication and presentation style for various audiences
Oral and written communication skills
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Effective Date: Until Filled
Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience
