JOB DESCRIPTION: To coordinate the technology used in the instructional and administrative programs of the school system. To provide computer and technology service and technical support to district and school end users.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of Bachelor's Degree; degree in School Administration preferred; knowledgeable of computers, computer programming and cyber security; good communication skills to work with employees and State Department personnel; and experience in setting up and operating a computer network. Candidate should be able to provide documented experience in the following areas:

• Collaboration with educators in integrating technology into curriculum and instructional practices.

• Developing, providing professional learning, and providing ongoing support on the use of technology tools and resources.

• Assisting in designing curriculum and resources that align with ALSDE standards.

• Analyzing data to inform instructional decisions and improvements.

LOCATION: Central Office

SALARY: Salary Schedule adopted by the Lawrence County Board of Education for the effective date of employment.

CONTRACT LENGTH: 12 months
