Instructional Systems Designer

SAIC is seeking an Instructional Systems Designer located in Huntsville, AL to support Hardware in the Loop - Aviation (HWIL-A) to analyze, design, and develop Interactive Multimedia Instruction and Serious Games with levels of interactivity ranging from Levels 2-4 in accordance with the Army Virtual Learning Environment.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Analyzing training needs and developing solutions to address them

• Providing consultation and recommendations to customers on innovative training solutions as well as on effective and relevant curriculum development

• Creating asynchronous and synchronous instruction designed for a distributed immersive learning environment

• Working with instructors, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and multimedia developers to analyze, design, develop, and evaluate distributed learning solutions

• Creating storyboards, scripts, scenario-based instruction, and other advanced learning strategies to meet the needs of learners

• Providing expertise in the creation of processes, and implementation of distributed learning

• Performing the actual detailed development of course materials or courseware, as well as product testing, and maintenance

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor's and three (3) years of related experience; additional four (4) years of experience accepted in lieu of degree

• Knowledge and understanding of Bloom's Taxonomy

• Experience with curriculum design/development and learning solutions

• Experience collecting, compiling, analyzing and synthesizing learner/customer feedback

• Experience using Microsoft 365 suite applications

• Exceptional written and oral communication skills

REQUIRED CLEARANCE:

• No clearance required to start, but must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance

• Must be a current US Citizen
