Locations: District - multiple buildings (see below for more detail)
Pay Rate: $16.06 per hour
Schedule: Dependent upon location/position; up to 35 hours per week, Monday
Benefit Eligible: Yes - positions working at least 30 hours per week

Job Summary: Under the supervision of the classroom teacher and building principal, assist with the instruction of students individually or in small groups.
Qualifications: To successfully perform this position, a person must be able to perform each primary duty satisfactorily. The qualification requirements listed below represent minimum levels of educational achievement, training, skills and/or ability necessary.
High school diploma
Proficient computer skills
Effective interpersonal skills
Strong written and communication skill
Proficiency in the use of technology for individual and system management, communications, and research
Must successfully complete and maintain compliance with all federal and state background and criminal record check requirements
Must have and maintain a valid state vehicle operator's license and a good driving record
Must successfully complete and maintain compliance with all federal and state background and criminal recordcheck requirements

Duties & Responsibilities: (Abbreviated
Instructional Support Aide:
Instructs individual students or small groups of students in a variety of settings to complement, reinforce, and enhance classroom instruction
Logs daily work and student progress to be reported to the classroom teacher and/or the building principal for use in designing appropriate next steps in instruction
Attends training sessions provided throughout the school year
Utilizes appropriate technologies (e.g. computers) as they relate to classroom instruction
Assists with the supervision of students during recess
Instructional Support Team (IST) Aide:
Instructs individual students or small groups of students in a variety of settings to complement, reinforce and enhance classroom instruction
Log daily work and student progress to be reported to the classroom teacher and/or the building principal for use in designing appropriate next steps in instruction
Attend training sessions provided throughout the school year
Utilize appropriate technologies (e.g. computers) as they relate to classroom instruction
