Catapult Learning, a division of FullBloom, is seeking a full-time, 12-month, Instructional Program Supervisor to manage the delivery of Catapult instructional programs in Western Pennsylvania's non-public, private, and religious-based schools. You will provide instructional leadership to develop and lead a team of diverse teachers toward success as Catapult instructional intervention leaders in their assigned schools. This is a Program Management role where you are charged with the implementation and oversight of Title 1, Act 89, or other assigned instructional programs within the non-public and private school districts of Western Pennsylvania. Ensuring that they adhere to Catapult curriculum standards, state/federal guidelines, and Catapult Learning's Corporate Core 5 Values Transparent, Decisive, Humble, Accountable, and Inclusive.

You will play a key role in ensuring Western Pennsylvania students receive the support they need to achieve success, all while providing Catapult Learning's educational solutions that generate demonstratable academic achievement.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a liaison between teachers, school staff, parents, and the Catapult Leadership team.

  • Coordinate efforts to obtain maximum utilization of services, facilities, equipment, materials, and teacher time.

  • Monitor program execution, identify areas for improvement, and collaborate with the Regional Director and Instructional Excellence Coaching Team to implement changes.

  • Support the development and implementation of program resources and materials.

  • Stay current on Catapult curriculum revisions and educational best practices and provide ongoing professional development for staff to transfer knowledge.

  • Maintain program quality and adherence to Catapult Learning's standards.

  • Attend annual Supervisor Mid-Atlantic school planning meetings with territory leaders and our central Instructional Excellence Team

  • Hire qualified educators aligned with Catapult Learning's philosophy.

  • Provide ongoing coaching, professional development opportunities, and performance evaluations.

  • Foster a collaborative and supportive learning environment for educators.

  • Analyze student assessment data, monitoring assessment-driven intervention instruction.

  • Coach and model the "Catapult Way" to support effective research-based instructional methods, strategies, and Catapult resources.

  • Lead planning sessions, gathering program information, and review of materials.

  • Guide teachers in the development of class schedules and collaborative strategies with school staff to meet the needs of all students receiving Catapult Learning Intervention curriculum.

  • Prepare presentations for monthly Team Meetings to address both instructional and business issues as required by the Regional Director and Instructional Excellence Coaching Team.

  • Guide teachers with record keeping procedures by assisting teachers with the completion and submission of company, district, state, or federal required forms and ensuring that the Company required plans and reports are maintained and updated properly.

  • Strategize with Catapult and classroom teachers to develop and implement effective instructional strategies to meet the individual needs of students.

  • Advise teaching staff on differentiated instruction approaches, and routines and expand active learning time for students.

  • Assist with assessments and progress monitoring specific to the program being overseen.

  • Analyze student data to identify trends and areas for improvement in their academic progress.

Quality Assurance: Uphold the highest ethical standards and ensure program operations comply with company policies.

  • Confirm accurate data collection and record-keeping for the assigned program.

  • Complete required reports and maintain program documentation according to Catapult Learning's standards.

  • Identify and resolve any program-related issues that may arise.

Team Culture: Create an environment where team members feel comfortable taking risks, sharing ideas, and asking for help without fear of judgment. This can be achieved through open communication, active listening, and celebrating successes together.

  • Encourage teachers and staff to work together towards shared goals. Facilitate team meetings, professional learning communities, and opportunities for collaboration on lesson planning and resources.

  • Recognize and celebrate individual and team accomplishments, both big and small. This could involve verbal praise, public recognition, or small rewards.

  • Invest in the professional growth of your team by providing opportunities for ongoing training and development. Encourage participation in workshops, conferences, and online learning resources.

Communication and Collaboration: Ensure clear and consistent communication flows both upwards and downwards within the team and with external stakeholders. Regularly communicate program updates, goals, expectations, and student progress data to the team.

  • Multiple Communication Channels: Utilize a variety of communication channels to reach all team members effectively. This may include emails, team meetings, video conferencing, online collaboration tools, and newsletters.

  • Active Listening: Practice active listening skills during meetings and conversations with team members. Pay close attention, ask clarifying questions, and acknowledge their contributions.

  • Transparency and Open Communication: Maintain a culture of transparency and open communication. Be honest and upfront with the team, even when delivering challenging news.

  • Effective Feedback: Provide timely and constructive feedback to teachers and staff to help them improve their practice.

  • Communication with Parents and School Staff: Serve as a clear and informative liaison between teachers, school staff, parents, and the Catapult Learning team. Address parent inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.

You are Expected to be:

  • Passionate and dedicated educator with a strong commitment to student success, particularly for Title 1 and Act 89 students.

  • Skilled instructional leader with proven experience in developing instructional teams, curriculum development, implementation, and assessment.

  • Effective communicator and collaborator who can build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.

  • Data-driven decision-maker who can analyze student data and use it to improve program effectiveness.

  • Problem-solver who can identify and address program challenges proactively.

  • Lifelong learner who stays current with educational best practices and state funding changes.

Qualifications, Education, and Experience:

  • Requires an active PA teaching certificate

  • Masters Degree

  • A minimum of five years experience in teaching and two years experience in a supervisory position

  • Title I experience is preferred

  • Must be able to effectively interact and communicate with teachers, students, administrators, and parents

Other Job Requirements:

  • Reliable mode of transportation required (significant travel)

  • Can handle multiple priorities and travel between multiple school sites throughout Western Pennsylvania

  • Must understand that all children can learn

  • Must demonstrate positive and enthusiastic attitude towards internal and external customers

  • Must be flexible

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 360, Zoom, OneDrive, etc., and the swift ability to learn new software systems quickly and independently

Physical Environment/Working Conditions:

  • Hybrid work environment

  • Catapult office is located in Greensburg, but a professional home workspace required

  • During the school year, most programs are in school settings
