IMPORTANT: This position and the Special Education Para position (job #240715002) for the KHS Choice Program are to be filled by one person who will be working the full school day (6.25 hours x 182 days per year - fewer hours on Wednesdays).
Applications for only one of the two positions will not be moved forward for screening
Preference given to qualified PSE of NK members.
Regular Instructional Paraeducator position at Kingston High School, working in the Choice Academy Academic Hope Center; assisting students with credit recovery and closing the graduation gap.
Anticipated work breakdown: 3.0 hrs/day x 182 days/year for the Instructional Para portion of the day.
Anticipated start date: 8/27/24.
IMPORTANT: Must be Highly Qualified (documentation needed - see Application Directions, Hints and Reminders section) and provide documentation of High School/Equivalent graduation.

Eligibility for benefits is determined by the number of hours an employee is anticipated to work during the school year (September 1 - August 31). This position is anticipated to meet the requirement of 630 hours of employment in a school/fiscal year to qualify for benefits.
