Instructional Interventionist (Certified)

Purpose: To supplement reading instruction for students in grades K-5 that qualify for Tier 3 interventions.

Qualifications: Ability to relate to children and to provide instructional activities in collaboration with the MTSS Coach and teacher.

College degree required

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide interventions to students who qualify for Tier 3 support in grades K- 5 to provide reinforcement of foundational reading skills.

• Collaborate with MTSS Coach and classroom teacher to prepare lessons, materials, and activities that supplements classroom reading instruction for Use data to support instructional strategies for intervention.

• Progress monitor students in lowest pre-requisite skill and provide interventions to fill gaps in learning.

• Adhere to the federal guidelines regarding non-instructional assignments/duties.

Primary Location: Knollwood Elementary

Salary Range: Daily rate of Pay for Certified Person Type: Full Time
