All new Henry County Schools' educators are required to attend Educator Launch - July 18-24, 2024.
Essential Duties:
Assist Principal and school leadership with implementation and evaluation of the continuous improvement process. Assist with linking program goals and CSIPs to the district vision and strategic direction.
Coordinate and facilitate professional development and coaching support related to highly effective instruction to include, but not limited to, literacy, student agency and goal-setting, learning engagement strategies, and academic acceleration.
Provide instructional support to school staff through classroom observations, data analysis, modeling, coaching, and feedback.
Work directly with school leadership to ensure school improvement efforts align with Henry's Plan of Action for Student Achievement.
Serve on school leadership team.
Attend district trainings and meetings as required.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
Hold a valid Georgia Educator Certificate or credentials required by the District, Master's level preferred.
Minimum of five years of successful certified level experience in education, preferred.
Ability to work well with students, parents, staff, and the community.
Exceptional integrity, commitment to confidentiality, excellent character, and strong professional reputation.
Must abide by the Georgia Professional Standards Code of Ethics for Educators.
Must be regularly, predictably, and reliably at work.
Ability to be present at the physical worksite.
Must perform tasks involving prolonged periods of standing, walking, and sitting.
Must perform routine physical activities such as bending and lifting/pushing/pulling up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to properly and consistently supervise students, particularly during emergency situations.
Vision, hearing, written, and verbal communications are essential factors in performing required tasks.
