Under the general supervision of the Director of Training, the Training Manager is responsible for assessing learning needs and leading the creation and delivery of organization-wide leadership and client training to improve individual, team and organizational performance.
Contributes to Talent Development programs and activities such as instructor-led classroom training, instructor-led virtual training, web-based training, webinars and other training deliverables as needed
Collaborates with stakeholders to determine individual and team learning needs and the best delivery approach.
Develop storyboards to support e-Learning design.
Provide thought leadership for design practices and tools.
Manage and facilitate design projects in order to meet production deadlines.
Utilize a variety of training methodologies, techniques, concepts, learning tools and practices to ensure maximum learning effectiveness.
Develops, implements, and monitors training solutions.
Measure learning outcomes through customer feedback and learning solutions.
Ability to interact with and influence all levels of an organization.
eLearning course design and development (Camtasia/Articulate 360) and proficiency developing SCORM compliant training, required.
Strong ability to facilitate and communicate with executives, client training teams, project leads and various levels of client staff.
Meet project plan commitments for tight deadlines and juggling multiple priorities while executing projects in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of the ADDIE Instructional Design model.
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Communication, Education or Instructional Design.
5+ years of work experience creating and delivering leadership / management development materials.
Knowledge of adult learning principles
Proficiency in using video editing and animating tools (e.g. Articulate, Camtasia, etc.)
Proficiency in using Learning Management Systems to provide scalable training solutions to different populations
Preference given to candidates with experience in the retail and merchandising industries
