Facebook is looking for a creative and innovative Instructional Designer to join our GMS Learning team. This role will require a diverse set of experiences in addition to instructional design, including consulting, project management, and content development.
The GMS Learning team supports sales teams across the Global Marketing Solutions organization at Facebook. In this position, you will collaborate to design and launch training deliverables including job aids, eLearnings and instructor-led sessions.
Instructional Designer Responsibilities
Perform and interpret needs analysis and translate the findings into actionable items
Independently develop entry and advanced-level courses for internal audiences
Plan, execute and evaluate complex projects
Utilize multimedia technology and eLearning authoring tools
Manage projects to a timeline, providing regular status updates
Drive impact through collaborative working relationships
Work with subject matter experts to prepare and enhance learning materials
Scope, design and develop instructor-led and digital content that is both engaging and informative
Organize and prioritize work, manage multiple tasks and function effectively as a self-directed leader of multiple initiatives
Stay up-to-date with training and education trends
Experience independently managing and delivering multiple projects at one time
Experience in scalable eLearning solutions
Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google slides and/or Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Word proficiency
Experience consulting, relationship-management, and advocacy experience
Interpersonal communication and problem-solving experience
Experience in the design, development, implementation, and management of both online and instructor-led training solutions
Experience with design
Understanding of digital marketing and advertising teams and internal workings of agencies
Experience in project management combined with experience bringing fresh ideas into product and sales training and delivery campaigns
Experience working in a fast-paced, always-on, start-up environment
