Design, develop, and deliver faculty training at both campuses covering current technologies and instructional methods.
Promote best practices through online modules, training, workshops, and support materials.
Designs and produces learning materials in a variety of formats including print, graphics, audio, video, animation, and multimedia to support teaching, learning, and college information needs.
Assist with the evaluation, selection, testing, and implementation of technologies that enhance teaching and learning both online and on-campus.
Consults with faculty members to determine appropriate learning technologies and strategies for course delivery, learning design, and tool usage.
Assist faculty with the development of instructional content to support face-to-face, online, and blended courses.
Provide support for faculty integrating technology into their curriculum, including aligning technology and tools with learning outcomes and objectives.
Assist faculty with quality course design and reviews.
Stay current on the trends for emerging and new instructional technologies.
Evaluate and recommend software/hardware related to distance education
Facilitate the day-to-day implementation of initiatives and strategies of the QEP.
Ensure QEP implementation is sustained through continuous input and participation from faculty, staff, students and College leadership.
Prepare annual QEP reports and present findings to institutional stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with SACSCOC standards and develop the fifth-year report for submission to SACSCOC.
Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Instructional Design, Education, or related field, required.
Minimum of one year of work experience in instructional design or technology-related field, required - in a higher education setting, preferred.
Experience various learning management systems and other educational technologies, required.
Experience with Quality Matters or other distance course review processed, preferred.

SALARY: Compensation is in accordance with the Alabama Community College System's Salary Schedule E1-2 ($49,686 - $66,832).
