Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Develop an understanding of the MMIS, the client, and the industry in order to create ongoing effective learning plans

  • Follows the Instructional Systems Life Cycle (ISLC) to plan, prepare, and deliver training

  • a. Follows the Instructional Systems Life Cycle (ISLC), described in section 2.6, to outline the planning, preparation, and delivery of the training

  • b. Develops Computer Based Trainings (CBTs) and obtains DCH approval

  • c. Manages and maintains the Learning Management System (LMS-Inquisiq) including courses, curriculum, materials, user groups and permissions

  • d. Develops and/or assists in the development of training session presentations to ensure the delivery of effective and accurate user training. This includes facilitator guides, PowerPoint presentations, handouts, and job aids

  • e. Assists with the preparation of the user training schedule

  • f. Participates and/or conducts user training sessions as needed for the training staff.

  • g. Evaluates feedback from staff on processes for use in training sessions to maintain consistency.

  • h. Conducts the appropriate research to identify training needs, associated processes, and policies related to the topics for which the training session is developed.

  • Assists in comparing training materials with the GAMMIS panels and change orders to ensure that the training materials accurately reflect the current GAMMIS panels.

  • j. Updates CBTs and training materials based on changes made to the GAMMIS.

  • k. Provides the GAMMIS updates to the Provider Relations Field Services team through the Provider Relations Field Services Publications Coordinator.

  • l. Assists the Provider Relations Field Services team with developing provider training materials.

  • m. Checks Inquisiq registration and sends Outlook meeting invites to registrants. Also assigns user names and password to all Inquisiq users.

  • n. Runs Change Order report on a weekly basis and distributes CO's impacting training materials to appropriate trainers based on Functional Area assignments (includes CO and CSR status/dates).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 2 years' work experience

  • Background in business education/training

The Project Controls Specialist will work collaboratively with the project managers and internal departments to effectively manage the cost and scheduling reports. The position will be based out of Tucker, Georgia. Responsibilities: * Implement and maintain the project controls requirements (cost and schedule) for multiple projects * Assemble and maintain the monthly project controls documentation; while pro-actively managing project forecasts accurately * Support the monthly assembly and analysis of progress and reporting of assigned projects to the Operations Director and Manager of Project Controls * Manage the preparation of reports, analysis and key communications, as required * Attend / participate in project review meetings, challenging project progress/status as appropriate * Compile monthly ad-hoc reporting requirements * Create, update, and maintain project schedules on a regular basis * Develop appropriate schedule reports and tools to effectively manage the critical path and remaining activities * Develop and / or enhance documentation for continuous support of the management of projects. Items include, but not limited to: Job Openings, Client Invoicing, Contract Change Orders, Contract Data Sheets, Inter-company Request Forms, etc. * Accountable for proper forecasting of client billings, revenue & profit for all active contracts * Analyze project data and provide detailed cost variance analysis information, as necessary * Possess understanding of client contracts and ensure all financial obligations are being met * Monitor billing milestones on major contracts to maximize cash flow and DSO; work with Finance Manager counterpart to ensure prompt billings * Review selective documentations such as client invoices, vendor invoices, and indirect overhead charges, as directed * Review of weekly work-hour time charges for project billing and progress purposes * Attend / participate in project review meetings, challenging project progress/status as appropriate * Analyze project data and provide detailed cost variance analysis information, as necessary Skills / Qualifications * A degree in engineering, cost management, project management, finance or other related field experience is required * Professional memberships are an advantage but not essential * At least 8 years of relevant project control cost and schedule (cross-trained) experience in an engineering setting required * Experience in project controls on various contract types (lump sum, reimbursable, etc.) * Project Controls Management experience preferred. Collaborative and positive attitude a necessity * Excellent written and verbal communications skills * Good communication and presentation skills * Project planning experience required; Primavera (P6) software experience is a plus * Familiarity with and ability to work with various enterprise information databases and Project Costing systems such as Oracle Voyager, Pacesetter, Ecosys, etc * Use of Microsoft Office suite programs with advanced knowledge of Excel * Authorization to work lawfully in the US without sponsorship from Wood is required Company Overview Wood is a global leader in the delivery of project, engineering and technical services to energy and industrial markets.
