Position Summary

Transform lives by serving on the Academic and Professional Excellence team to provide support for faculty quality in all aspects of teaching and learning including initial onboarding, quality course design in the LMS, OER, and ongoing professional development. This person will also support college staff in data literacy, professional development related to technology and job productivity, and serve as a resource for ongoing learning opportunities.

Duties & Responsibilities

Guide faculty in quality course design.

Analyze courses for quality based on a rubric of quality standards, then assess and provide feedback on the course quality.

Support faculty and staff use of the Learning Management System.

Support faculty in pedagogy/andragogy.

Provide faculty onboarding for full and part-time faculty, including completion of the Faculty Quality Assurance System (FQAS).

Lead OER initiatives.

Provide leadership in professional development for faculty and staff.

Work with faculty and staff to develop data literacy and provide support for data needs with the Institutional Effectiveness team.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Instructional or Educational Technology, Curriculum, or related field required.

Demonstrated knowledge and application of adult learning theory, instructional design, and appropriate use of instructional technologies required.

Experience in the development and delivery of best practices for virtual teaching, learning, and academic assessment required.

Prior experience with curriculum design and learning management systems preferred.

Three years of teaching experience required.

Must possess excellent problem resolution, organizational, interpersonal, communication, and project management skills.

Must possess ability to:

Compensation is dependent upon experience and qualifications.
