Instructional Design And Development Specialist

This position will be responsible for providing instructional design training and development support to faculty, both in groups and individually, who are integrating technology into their courses. The person holding this position helps foster a climate of learning and ongoing skill and course development, with an emphasis on universal design, outcomes assessment, and ADA compliance among Plattsburgh faculty through the integration of technology into instruction (when appropriate), with a special focus on supporting online learning.

Information Technology Services (ITS) provides exceptional technology services and solutions that enrich the student experience, advance teaching and learning, improve outcomes, and effectively manage and protect institutional data. ITS supports all technology needs inside and outside of the classroom and handles administrative computing, enterprise application management, network, and telecommunications, as well as card access and data center infrastructure.
