Job Requirements:
This position requires a minimum of three years experience as classroom teacher, instructional designer or industry/corporate trainer.
Valid State Issued Driver's License
Bilingual is a plus
Education:
Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred
OK Standard Teaching Certificate in secondary education is required
Salary Schedule:
12 Month Instructor
Hiring Range:
$64,784 to $68,389 annually dependent on experience and education, plus additional $7,200 compensation for salary-in-lieu of dependent benefit coverage.

Essential Functions:
Assist in the development and implementation of new programs that reflect projected needs of the community's skilled technological workforce.
Research and recommend revisions on curricula, instructional methods and materials for existing programs to assure technological currency and relevancy to community industries.
Provide support for teachers, to assure that high quality of instruction and the utilization of classroom learning strategies are most appropriate for the curriculum and consistent with District objectives.
Collect, compile and disseminate curriculum objectives and program information to both internal and external customers. This process will promote the mission, programs and learning services of the District, assuring programs alignment across multiple campuses, as well as between full-time programs (courses) and short-term classes.
Provide documentation regarding the curriculum in order to sustain cooperative agreements, accreditation and industry certifications from various agencies or professional organizations.
Assure connection to internal and external customers through attendance at district, state and national sponsored meetings and events.
Provide leadership training to facilitate, and support for the development, delivery and assessment of courses utilizing the District's learning management system.
Collaborate with the administration to determine and develop the career major courses that could be offered via online learning and assist instructors in implementing such courses.
Develop, conduct or participate in professional development activities designed to promote innovation and quality instruction.
Perform tasks and duties relevant to any of various roles or responsibilities assigned by supervision and determined by management to be appropriate for this position; comply with all policy, procedure, regulation and other communicated requirements as may be in effect for the workgroup or worksite.
Exercise discretion and independent judgment in making decisions regarding the provided services to internal and external customers. Interpret and implement policies in a manner consistent with the interests of the District. Provide advice and consultation to executive management as requested. Investigate and resolve issues as needed, represent the department and District in a professional manner to all.
