The District seeks leaders who are committed to educational equity and work to create access and opportunity for our students furthest from education justice. The District is seeking candidates for Instructional Coordinators to support assigned schools/area and other programs. There are a total of five (5) positions that will be assigned to support the Equity, Access and Opportunity Division.

These positions will support a diverse range of UTK-12 students across the District and require demonstrated expertise in Tier I instruction across content areas and grade levels. Ideal candidates will possess a strong working knowledge and specialized proficiency in two or more of the following areas: • Current literacy practices • Current mathematical practices • Multi-Tiered Systems of Support • Universal Design for learning • Culturally and linguistically responsive instruction and materials • Asset-based assessment practices Instructional Coordinators will collaborate with site administrators to analyze data, identify areas of focus, and determine evidence-based practices to support high quality Tier I instruction, with the initiative to improve student outcomes and co-design professional learning experiences for a variety of audiences based on site and cluster goals using effective communication and a command of digital presentation tools. POSITION SPECIFICS: Working Location is based out of the Equity, Access and Opportunity Department - 4100 Normal Street, San Diego, CA 92103 Scheduled for 12 months / 248 days per year This recruitment is for five (5) positions, anticipated to be filled for the start of the 2024-2025 school year, pending Board of Education approval.

Qualifies for District Paid health and wellness benefits for employee and dependents The Instructional Coordinator will be paid on the AASD Certificated Supervisors I Salary Schedule, Plan 0708. Salary Grade: 027

MININUM QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Any combination of training, experience, and/or education equivalent to:

Master's degree and seven (7) years of TK- 12 teaching experience. LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Valid California Driver's License. Valid California Administrative Services Credential.
