FTE: 1.0 FTE (School Year Position) Job Goal: Build positive relationships with students, families, staff and the greater Ashland community.

Provide high-quality instruction to students. Engage positively and professionally in collaborative teams to regularly analyze data that will inform and adjust instructional practices to ensure student success. Present a positive image in contact with the parents, community, and staff. Properly handles confidential matters relating to students, student records, parents, staff and any other school-related issues.

The instructional coach uses special attained knowledge, educational training, and experience to strengthen the skill of the classroom teacher and/or support staff in order to increase student achievement.

This position requires, but is not limited to the following:

  • Valid Wisconsin Teacher Certification or equivalent.

  • Master's Degree (preferred).

  • Reading Specialist Certificate beneficial.

  • Ability to forge positive relationships with students and their parents/guardians of students.

  • Ability to work collegially with department staff, student services, administration, the faculty, maintenance staff, and community as needed.

  • Ability to facilitate student/parent meetings as needed.
