POSITION SUMMARY:
Increase the mathematics achievement of students by building instructional capacity of classroom teachers; provide technical assistance and support to classroom teachers and principals in math instruction. Model lessons which include best instructional practices in math instruction for elementary school teachers, monitor classroom instruction, and coach teachers in best practices for math instruction.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Basic Teaching Certificate.
Ability to perform essential functions with the physical, mental and emotional requirements, with or without accommodations.
Ability to maintain confidentiality in performing assigned tasks.
Ability to work harmoniously with others and to communicate effectively (both orally and in writing) with students, parents and staff.
Such alternatives to the qualifications as the Board and Superintendent may find appropriate and acceptable.
Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid Card.
