Instructional Coach

Job Description:

Granby Public Schools invites candidates to apply for the position of Math Instructional Coach at Wells Road Intermediate School.

This position will support classroom teachers, administration, and district goals by designing and implementing a balanced and effective math program for all students. Knowledge of best practices related to math instruction is required as is the ability to work effectively and collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and support staff.

In addition to directly coaching teachers, the candidate would be able to review, interpret, and analyze data and facilitate data conversations around student achievement. The math coach will work with teachers to identify areas of growth at the class and student level and develop individualized support plans as well as provide direct services to students on an as needed basis. This position will also provide professional development and lead collaborative teams at a school and district level.
