None OVERVIEW To provide (under direct supervision) a variety of instructional activities to support the classroom teacher and/or interventionist working with students who are academically disadvantaged in Reading, Writing, and Math. QUALIFICATIONS According to federal guidelines, Title I instructional assistants must be highly qualified according to the following requirements: Associate's degree or 60 semester hours of coursework documented by a transcript from an accredited institution of higher education OR Pass ParaPro Test to meet Every Student Succeeds Act, December 2015 requirement Bilingual (English/Spanish) may be preferred at some sites Ability to work well with students and staff; good verbal and written communication skills Ability to operate general office machines Ability to organize and to prioritize DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
