Join our team as an Instructional Assistant in our Resource Specialist Program (RSP) for the 2024-2025 school year! In this role, you will work closely with our general education and specialist teachers, providing invaluable support in various instructional and non-instructional classroom tasks.

As an Instructional Assistant in the RSP, your main focus will be providing personalized tutoring and assistance to students, ensuring their success. You'll also contribute to a positive learning environment through effective behavior management strategies. Confidentiality is crucial as you assist with implementing IEP goals and safeguard student privacy.

You'll handle important administrative tasks like record-keeping, materials preparation, and progress monitoring to support classroom operations. To excel in this position, you'll need a solid understanding of child development, behavior management, and instructional processes. Following instructions, working independently with responsibility, and collaborating effectively are essential skills.

Prior experience with school-age children is desired, and holding CPR certificates would be beneficial, but not required. Adaptability to meet varying student needs is also vital. The schedule is 6 hours per day 8:45 AM to 3:15 PM, with a 30-minute unpaid break Monday -Friday, 193 days/ year.
