Summary of Duties: Under general supervision by appointed administrator, to aid in the identification of suitable special education student participants in the District WorkAbility program; to provide a communication link between the work ability program and business community; to assist in the interpretation of District policy, regulations, and program goals and objectives to members of the educational community; to assist in the planning, organization, and conduct of special education vocational and career education programs; and to do other related work as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High school graduate and two (2) years of experience providing service in a special education work

Comments and Other Information

OPEN CONTINUOUS- Open to the public with the selection process resulting in an Eligibility List that will be used to fill current vacancies, provide substitutes, and any future vacancies that occur within one (1) year. All properly completed applications will be reviewed and the most highly qualified individuals will be invited to continue in the selection process.

The process may consist of an evaluation and scoring of application materials, written testing, oral interview and/or performance test to evaluate the applicant's skill, training and experience. The EdJoin system will time-out after a 20 minute period of perceived inactivity. Your responses to the supplemental questions are limited to 5,000 characters.

Offers of employment are contingent upon successful completion of a drug test, TB test, fingerprinting and may include a physical exam. The physical and drug screen are paid for by the District. The fingerprint cost is $40.00 and is paid for by the candidate.
