INSTRUCTIONAL ASSISTANT

• SPECIAL EDUCATION III (MODERATE/SEVERE) 6.6 hours per day Anticipated Site: Pendleton Elementary Under general supervision of the school principal, to independently perform a variety of follow-up instructional activities; to assist in the conduct of training and learning activities with children experiencing special learning needs; to perform a variety of routine clerical and supportive activities for instructional personnel; and to do other related work as required.

Applicants who meet the minimum qualifications will be invited for testing. Applicant must pass the written to proceed in the recruitment process. If hired, position requires fingerprint background check by DOJ/FBI. Consideration will be given, first, to current BPSD employees requesting a transfer. Application must be completed with all attachments by the closing date of the position. Incomplete applications will be screened out.

• CPR/First Aid Certification (Copy of CPR & First Aid Certificate)
• Letter(s) of Recommendation (Two to three current Letters of Recommendation (signed within the past year))
