This is a 7-hour per day IA-II (Title 1) position at Eastwood Elementary School starting August 26, 2024. The work calendar for this position is 184 days in a full academic year. Per OAR 581-037-0006, Instructional Assistants in Title 1-A funded positions are required to have:
Completed two years of study at an institute of higher education; OR
Obtained an Associate's (or higher) degree; OR
Met a rigorous standard of quality and demonstrate through a formal state, or local academic assessment or paraeducator certificate program, knowledge of and the ability to assist in instructing: Reading, writing, or mathematics; or
Reading readiness, writing readiness, and mathematics readiness, as appropriate

Starting Salary: $16.83-21.30, depending on previous experience and education
