Instructional Assistant I / Instructional Assistant I-Bilingual (Spanish)

Under the direction of an assigned supervisor, reinforces teacher's lesson plans working with students in small groups or on a one-to-one basis; provides classroom support activities; maintains student discipline; scores tests using key and records data; and performs other related duties as required. Positions in the specialized language classes require incumbents to assist non and limited English speaking students in their primary language.

POSITION:There is currently one (1) part-time Instructional Assistant I-Bilingual (Spanish) position available at Nogales High School. Tentative hours for this position are 8:30 am to 2:30 pm, 5.5 hours a day, 5 days a week, 9.5 months a year.

An eligibility list is being established to fill this vacancy, hire substitutes and to fill future vacancies in this classification, as well as the Instructional Assistant I position.
