TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist the teacher in general daily classroom activities.

Assists with supervision and student management. TYPICAL DUTIES: Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Other duties may be assigned • Assist in small group pupil instruction. • Assists teacher in classroom management. • Assists with related clerical duties, including scoring student assignments with the provided answer key. • Assists in assembling materials and bulletin boards. • Operates standard school equipment such as laminator, copier, audiovisual, etc. • Escorts small groups of students. • Support students in accordance with Individual Education Program, 504 plan and /or behavior support plan • May accompany and assist student's teacher(s) and other staff concerning students' needs and share any special circumstances, concerns, behaviors, and needs. • Assist students with development and enforcement of life skills and self-help activities. • Attends to the physical and health needs of students, including toileting/diapering. • Documents and keeps daily notations/data depending on individual.

Requirements / Qualifications

High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Pass District test(s).

Comments and Other Information

Testing for this position will take place on 4/4/24.
