Major Responsibilities


Under the direction of an assigned supervisor, assist students and instructors in academic or vocational subject areas; assist in the preparation of instructional materials; provide tutoring services to assigned students; perform related clerical duties as assigned.



Any combination of training and experience equivalent to: six months of tutoring, instructional or work experience related to the academic or vocational area to which assigned, or satisfactory completion of six college semester units in the assigned subject area. Correct English usage, spelling, grammar, punctuation and vocabulary; basic arithmetic; general needs and behavior of students of various ethnic, racial and cultural backgrounds.

Training and Experience: Any combination of training and experience equivalent to: Bachelor's degree and course work in business, analytics, computer science, instructional media or related area, supplemented by specialized training in computer systems and applications, business analytics and at least four years increasingly responsible experience analyzing administrative, and operational processes. License: Valid California driver's license. Foreign Degree: Applicants with foreign degrees from colleges or universities outside of the United States must have their coursework evaluated by a professional association that is a member of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES).
