Instructional Aide (Transitional Kindergarten Class)

The Byron Union School District is a TK - 8 district located in Byron, CA with approximately 1,250 students and 200+ staff members, with two elementary schools and one middle school serving the communities of Byron and Discovery Bay. The district also offers an independent study program (Byron Institute of Independent Study) serving grades K-8. Under the direction of the Principal as well as the certificated staff members, the instruction assistant will perform duties and responsibilities as allowed by the Education Code. The assistant will perform duties consistent with allowance services from the funding sources. The proportion of time spent will be appropriate to the amount of funding sources used.

Must be able to pass standard proficiency test of basic knowledge.
