Requirements / Qualifications

Classified Application Letter of Introduction Resume Two current professional letters of recommendation

Basic Qualifications: High School Diploma or Equivalency.

Associate of Arts degree or passage of the paraeducator exam. Some clerical experience with knowledge of computers and related programs. Experience specific to a preschool through age 22 in a special education setting is preferred.

Specialized certification related to supporting student(s) and program(s) needs (i.e. EMT, CNA, Etc.) preferred. Clean and clear driving record and valid California Driver's License.

Comments and Other Information

• Note: Specialized licensing may count towards years of experience given. $2600 annual stipend for ESN aides that work more than .75 FTE with students in ESN classroom
