Requirements for Applying

TRAINING/EXPERIENCE: Graduation from high school or equivalent.

Must be enrolled or have completed 6 Semester units in Child Development/Early Childhood Education. Must take and pass the District's Proficiency Test. Must have paid or volunteer experience in a Preschool setting SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

Must be a team player. Must be flexible; must be nurturing and caring to children; must be open to constructive criticism; must be open to learning new ways of working with children; must interact with children in a positive way; must be willing to upgrade one's education; must maintain a cooperative working relationship with staff and parents. HEALTH REQUIREMENTS:

Must meet State health requirements: Current physical examination and verification of TB Clearance.
