GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

Under the general direction of the CAO, supports the evaluation and planning efforts of the College's senior administration by initiating and conducting studies and providing data and statistical analysis on the College's policies, practices, programs, goals and environment. In addition, is responsible for preparing reports that the College files annually with state and federal agencies to which it is accountable; is responsible for collaborating with other administrators in planning and executing the College budget by providing supporting data, and supervises data collection, analysis, and preparation of statistical reports in support of the College's plans for future fiscal, capital and academic initiatives and needs.

SALARY RANGE: $90,000-$100,000

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES

  • Leading the College's Institutional Research unit that collects, compiles, analyzes and presents information accurately. Communicating information as appropriate to the college community.

  • Prepares the college's annual fact book and quarterly key indicators information.

  • Responsible for the coordination, analysis, development, and systematic collection of institutional data for planning, decision making, assessment, and reporting.

  • Compiles and submits college statistics to the required state, national, and governmental agencies. In addition, is responsible for information required by outside publications and college guides and assists in the development and analysis of key institutional performance indicators and outcomes.

  • Provides statistical data for the collaborative annual budget process.

  • Assists in the forecasting future enrollments, implementing resource planning and allocation practices that provide for the College's continued growth.

  • Works with the Deans and other college administrators on the institutional assessment process, and issues updates to the Senior Staff as needed.

  • Works with the Executive Vice President of Finance, Operations, Treasurer to provide the necessary analysis to support and allow for creative resource allocation.

  • Maintains and queries internal databases, including ad hoc requests and enrollment reporting.

  • Assists the President with data in preparation for meetings of the Board of Directors, Shareholders, and other key stakeholders by providing accurate and professionally presentable information.

  • Provides accurate data, reports, and other information to facilitate good decision making by the President and other senior management.

  • Develops and coordinates the administration of various student surveys, analyzes results, and reports accordingly.

  • Engages in routine and ad hoc research projects in support of the College's strategic activities.

REQUIREMENTS: The person selected will have the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree (Master's Degree Preferred)

  • Valid passport

  • Required Knowledge:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years work experience preferred, ideally at a higher education environment

  • Strong competency using office software applications

  • Understanding of international education

  • Experience Required:

  • Experience in international studies, international relations, education abroad or higher education
