Reports to the Executive Director of Institutional Research and Effectiveness.This position is contingent upon grant funding through June 30, 2026.LCCC is an equal opportunity employer and encourages applications from diverse candidates.LCCC Internal candidates must apply within 15 days of posting.To apply, please submit a cover letter, resume and unofficial transcript through our online application system at www.lccc.edu/jobs.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Institutional Research * Develops, modifies, and/or executes data reporting, assists with data collection and research * Data coding and data entry for the Annual Factbook, weekly dashboard enrollment reports, Graduate Satisfaction Survey, College Services Satisfaction Survey, and other special reports/surveys as requested. * Coordinates Adjunct and FT/PT Faculty Surveys by extracting a list of students for the courses/faculty being evaluated; updates list from Academic Services of the faculty being considered; downloads reports from Class Climate and distributes as appropriate * Supports annual Graduate Outcomes Survey; enters data; creates and runs reports * Assist with the reporting requirements associated with the Middle States Accreditation Process. * Provides support for the Data Cookbook by developing technical and narrative definitions for approval by Data Governance and updating them as needed. * Creates surveys using the Survey Monkey tool as requested, sends to appropriate individuals, and downloads/distributes results. * Tests and cross-validates reports run by other members of the Institutional Research team as part of the quality management process * Maintains and updates the Institutional Research reporting calendar * Assists with the fulfillment of helpdesk tickets as requested, tracks the Institutional Research helpdesk queue * Assists with maintaining the Institutional Research policy and procedure manual * Assists with compiling technical documents for all Institutional Research related reports * Administrative*
  • Coordinates Data Governance meetings, developing agendas for review, transcribing and distributing minutes, and attaching any reports for distribution * Maintains and manages programmatic, financial, and project-related records, including data entry for Institutional Research. * Monitors departmental budgets and expenditures, maintains electronic records, and prepares reports and projections; monitors office supplies and order as appropriate * Coordinates communication and updates departmental websites and statistical information on external websites * Schedules meetings; records and distributes minutes for meetings * Assists with clerical and administrative tasks. * Cross-trains and backs up other members of the Institutional Research team * Performs other duties as assigned.Qualifications:RequiredEducation * Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. * Foreign degrees - must provide a US equivalency report of your degree credentials with your transcript, if not, your resume will not be accepted.Certifications * Act 153 Clearances (Act 34 PA Criminal Background, Act 151 PA Child Abuse History, Act 114 FBI Clearance Fingerprinting)Work Experience * One to three years' experience. * Must be familiar at a novice/beginner level with data extraction and presentation tools, such as SQL; R, SAS, SPSS, or Python; OBIEE, PowerBI, or Tableau. * Must be familiar with basic statistical or quality concepts.Knowledge, Skills, Abilities * Must be proficient in using MS Office, including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint, emphasizing intermediate or above proficiency in Excel and Access. * Ability to maintain accurate and detailed financial and programmatic records. * Must possess a high level of work skills and behaviors: confidentiality, attention to detail, adaptability, critical thinking, teamwork/cooperation, initiative, customer service, and commitment to continuous professional growth in skills and knowledge.Preferred * Masters degree from an accredited institution. * Minimum of five years of work experience. * College/university administration experience.Physical DemandsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear.
