Essential Job Functions

  • Responsible for all signed documents of goods received

  • Picks up and delivers equipment and supplies from warehouse(s) to designated area(s) or departments and vice versa

  • Picks up or delivers salvaged or non-salvage items from existing area(s) or department(s) and delivers to designated department(s), county facilities or salvage storage trailer

  • Does inventory of carts, dollies, and U-boats that were used

  • Loads and unloads truck-driven and may participate in storing or moving of materials in warehouse or other buildings

  • Ensures hallways are clear of pallets and totes/bins

  • Stocks, pulls, and delivers warehouse-stored supplies

  • Ensures that the delivery truck is checked and serviced for preventive maintenance or repair

  • Cleans and maintains the warehouse, delivery trucks, vans, electric cars, fork lifts, and electric pallet jack daily to ensure a safe working area


The position is open to all permanent County of Los Angeles employees who have successfully completed their initial probationary period and currently hold the payroll title of Institutional Laborer.

As an Institutional Sales Channel Representative, you will work with the sales leadership, sales force members, marketing and investment services to design, develop and deploy programs that increase adoption and effectiveness of key messages across the sales process within the Institutional client segments. You will possess knowledge of the Institutional marketplace, distribution channels, particularly the types of customers, intermediaries and participants that make up the investment process and typical sales cycle. Responsibilities: * Drive and execute strategies that increase the effectiveness of our sales force across key initiatives. * Collaborate with channel managers, sales leadership, sales force members, marketing and investment services in the development of sales execution plans to deliver on our go to market programs. * Work with sales leadership and solutions teams in determining roles, responsibilities and messaging needed across a multi-stage sales process. * Ensure the voice of sales and sales force needs are considered and incorporated in the development of content, messaging and sales tools. * Develop sales messaging and sales tools that effectively enable the sales force to adopt and deliver messages to drive sales across priority initiatives. * Execute salesforce rollout and conduct post launch assessment of adoption, effectiveness and ongoing support required. Qualifications: * 5+ years of investment experience. * Significant familiarity with sales interactions and steps to making a sale within the financial services industry. * Knowledge of investment products and solutions including institutional vehicle types by customer segment * Knowledge of sales enablement and sales enablement functions. * Experience developing (through writing, collaboration, creativity) multiple aspects of talking points, sales messaging, and conversation tools. * Demonstrate ability to collaborate with, share ideas and influence thinking of business units and teams within the organization. * Demonstrate intellectual curiosity and analytical skills in areas of high complexity. * Understand organizational structures, distribution channels and competitive landscape. * Exhibit knowledge in current and possible future policies, practices, trends, technology and information affecting the department/business area. * Possess in-depth knowledge of sales training best practices. * Innovative, resourceful and professional * Bachelors degree strongly preferred, CIMA, CFA or MBA a plus.
