The Associate Channel Marketing Manager will be responsible for working with Voya Investment Management's Institutional Channel Marketing Manager in support of the business development and client retention efforts for the Institutional Distribution team, including Cross Regional business support. This role will assist in developing, delivering and driving go-to market strategies in an effort to help drive sales. This person will also formulate communication strategies, develop sales tools and own the development of marketing materials and lead channel specific initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and delivery of various product specific and value add marketing collateral including: presentations, strategy briefs, commentaries, multi-media updates, brochures, white papers & digital marketing deliverables.

  • Lead development of select marketing support material including webinar invites, event material, communications etc.

  • Assist the Institutional Channel Manager with initiatives to help support

the overall U.S. Institutional and Cross Regional business efforts.

  • Liaise with portfolio management teams, portfolio specialists, product management,

compliance as well as other key sales and distribution teams.

Requirements

  • Solid knowledge of investment industry, investment strategies and concepts, including applicable SEC and FINRA regulatory requirements.

  • At least 3-5 years of experience in financial services marketing, or a combination of

marketing and sales in the institutional business.

  • A self-starter with the willingness and ability to present new perspectives and

approaches to the channel marketing team.

  • Experience working with sales and distribution professionals a plus.

  • Bachelor's degree. MBA considered a plus.

  • Strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects independently and

simultaneously, meet deadlines and adapt to changing priorities and timelines.

  • Ability to develop, write and produce marketing communication programs to meet

multiple audiences and marketing objectives.

  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.

  • Demonstrated exceptional project management skills.

Reporting to the Head of B2B Client Marketing, the primary responsibility of the Institutional Channel Marketing Lead is to develop, implement and lead all facets of our marketing strategy with respect to the firm's business to business segment ("Institutional channel"). Leadership * Demonstrate personal leadership within the marketing organization and across the broader firm * Build and maintain positive relationships with Institutional global sales and service teams, and internal and external business partners * Lead and participate on cross-functional teams, serving as a key marketing liaison for Institutional teams Responsibilities * Drive a more modern, digital-first and data-directed marketing agenda to help the Institutional channel expand into new regional segments and improve client engagement * Create comprehensive, actionable marketing programs in support business plan through collaboration with channel leadership, other marketing colleagues, and business partners across the organization * Ensure accuracy and timeliness of deliverables, including coordinating legal and compliance approval, corporate brand adherence and consistency in messaging across all mediums * Define client-specific target audiences, customer journey maps and all marketing touchpoints using data * Partner with sales leadership to gain insight and knowledge of institutional clients in regions around the globe.
