Job Description:
Your Piece of the Puzzle

Nebraska Furniture Mart's Electronics Installation Team gets to know our customers on a personal level. They provide consultation and complex installation services for our customers. As an EDIC Installer II you will be invited into our customer's homes to ensure the work is 100% up to par with their expectations. You will play a large role in creating satisfied, loyal, life-long customers.

Job Duties: A Day in the Life

  • Safety First: Handle products so you are safe and the product is damage free

  • Play Your Part: Coordinate schedule with customers and contractors to accomplish installations in a timely manner

  • Install: Connect electronics products using wiring diagrams, architectural drawings and technical specifications

  • Make it Flawless: Work with the sales and merchandising teams to support floor and/or special function displays

  • Wrap it up: Maintain inventory, order correct parts and work with service agencies on warranty repairs

Work under general supervision of the General Manager while providing personal secretarial services and administrative assistance. Exercise discretion and judgment on occasion and provide courteous, responsive, and accurate information to associates. Key Accountabilities: * Screen telephone calls and visitors, deciding who can be redirected to subordinate managers or to others offices. * Provide information to callers, requiring detailed knowledge of the manager's area of responsibility and general knowledge of company policies, practices and operations. * Perform confidential administrative functions where reports could have an effect on cost. (Typing, proofing and assembling reports or proposals for customers or outside agencies and taking, transcribing and distributing minutes for important meetings) * Maintain departmental records and prepare reports. * Schedule meetings and appointments and arrange travel and hotel accommodations as necessary. * Open and review all mail directed to management staff.
