Introduction

We are seeking an Installed Base Manager to join our Services Product Data Management (PDM) team! You will be responsible for leading the operative work of Installed Base Specialist(s) within the PDM organization, which involves driving the information content and structure. Your role plays a crucial part in driving the installed base development towards Metso vision. In this position, you will report to Director, Data and Installed Base, located in the United States.

This position is mainly located in Finland, the US, Canada, India, Brazil or Mexico, but we are happy to offer flexible working arrangements, including hybrid options. This position requires a maximum of 10% of business travel.

Team you belong to

You will join a team of dedicated professionals who work closely with different stakeholders such as Business Areas, Global Logistics Operations, Sales Excellence, Market Areas and other stakeholders to ensure high quality installed base information. Our team culture is all about getting things done together. The members in our team are located in Finland, Australia, and the United States.

What you'll do

• Lead the operative work of Installed Base Specialist(s) within the PDM organization

• Drive installed base information quality and coverage

• Manage operatively the installed base information gathering and change management process as per defined Metso processes

• Drive installed base information quality and coverage, and ensure that information management practices are followed

• Support in defining information architecture for PDM and installed base management

• Support Market Area installed base owners in gathering the installed base information and utilizing this data in business processes

• Define information requirements regarding installed base and support in defining information architecture for installed base management

• Ensure correct information from sites in enough detail level

• Check requests for IB updates, review and clean up data and update product information to IB

Who you are

• Have a minimum B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in a field relating to Data Management, or similar technical field

• Experience defining requirements for application development (ITDD)

• Familiarity and ability to apply data models to be mastered in a single system, but shared with many

• Understand the impact poor quality or missing data can have on customer satisfaction and business profitability

• Commitment to making a lasting impact on our product data management effectiveness

• Ability to collaborate with ease at all levels of the global organization and build your stakeholder network

• Previous experience working with Metso Installed Base data is seen as an asset
