Organize and direct hardware installations on site surveys. Assess and document current site network configuration and user requirements. Design and optimize network topologies. Analyze and develop new hardware requirements and prepare specifications for hardware acquisitions. Direct and lead preparation of engineering plans and site installation Technical Design Packages. Develop hardware installation schedules. Mobilize installation team. Direct and lead preparation of drawings documenting configuration changes at each site. Prepare site installation and test reports. Coordinate post installation operations and maintenance support.

Position Description:

Perform hardware and software installations for an enterprise environment of ~3500 personal computers, and ~1200 mobile devices.Provide pre-migration support in the form of customer interactions, device investigation and inventory, and coordination of hardware and software installations. Provide imaging support, following detailed documentation, to prepare and configure a machine for the end-user or customer. (Products such as MDT, SCCM, and BigFix may be used.) Leverage excellent customer relationship skills to introduce customers to new Operating System (Windows 10) and provide training and guidance during their migration.



Basic Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Windows 10 in an Enterprise Environment
  • 1+ years working with HP Hardware (Laptops, Desktops, Docking Stations, etc.)
  • 1+ years working with Dell Hardware (Laptops, Desktops, Docking Stations, etc.)
  • Experience with troubleshooting and resolving basic technical issues on a Windows PC
  • Excellent communication skills when working with an end user or customer, including gathering information about their current operational requirements and duties
  • Ability to write and create documentation targeted towards end users, customers, and technical personnel
  • ITIL Foundations Certification.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Perform in-life technical procedures, handle, restrain, and provide care for all animals * Observe animals for general health and overall well-being * Administer therapeutic agents by various routes * Provide animal welfare assessments, including body weight and tumor volume measurement * Collect blood samples and process for shipment to sponsor * Allocate animals to study and non-study groups * Provide perioperative animal care, including analgesia and anesthesia administration * Euthanize animals as directed in study protocols and directives * Act as lead/primary technician on studies * Read study protocols and extract pertinent information * Perform study preparation activities including collection tube labeling and room/BSC set-up * Maintain and calibrate equipment * Record data using laboratory information management systems * Work weekends and holidays on rotating basis KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES * Experience with preclinical in vivo pharmacology or oncology studies in mice * Technical in vivo and data analysis skills * Ability to work effectively and productively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a strong sense of accountability, integrity and confidentiality. * Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to exercise sound and accurate judgment in making timely decisions. * Superior planning, organizational, computer, written, and verbal communication skills * Ability to assist with other duties in a dynamic environment * Understanding of animal welfare and clinical testing regulations and standards (e.g. AAALAC, CLIA) * Ability to observe safety and security procedures EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE * BS/MS degree in biology, pharmacology, or related field, or minimum of 3 years of related experience * Experience in contract research animal facility or industry setting is preferred * AALAS certification preferred PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT * Must be able to sit and use hands to finger, handle and feel * Must be able to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 pounds * Must be able to sit for long periods of time using a computer in a typical office environment in a multi-level facility * Some activities require repetitive motion and reaching, pulling or pushing * In carrying out the duties of the job there will be frequent exposure to fumes and chemical hazards * Duties performed routinely require exposure to blood, body fluid and tissue This job description may be changed to include new responsibilities and tasks or change existing ones as management deems necessary.
