Technical aptitude is very important; but, so is a focus on the customer experience. Training comprehension happens most effectively when the trainer can wholly engage the trainees. The ARCA Installation Technician is often the only truly ARCA face a customer will see. The individual is the key to a successful installation. This position will be based remotely on the central or west coast in a major metropolitan area and requires a large proportion of overnight travel, estimated to be up to 95% of working time.

Responsibilities:

  • Installing product(s) adhering to ARCA customer excellence standards

  • Advising customer on software systems and providing required maintenance

  • Documenting procedures and processes

  • Solving customers' product related opportunities on end-user systems via remote or on-site access

  • Training, supervising and supporting riggers and/or service partners during installations

  • Confirming systems are sending logs before completion of install, where applicable

  • Signing into the ACD system to assist with customer calls when available

  • Performing product installations in assigned and other regions

  • Supporting and auditing Service Partner installations in assigned region

  • Completing required installation closing documentation

  • Diagnosing technical issues that arise with the assistance of other teams

Qualifications:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (all levels of the customer organization)

  • Minimum 3 years' industry specific field installations experience

  • ATM/Banking/Security installation experience strongly desired

  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills required

  • Bachelor's degree preferred

  • Availability for overnight travel up to 95%

Join us and start doing your life's best work.SM Primary Responsibilities: * Case Installation and configuration within the Facets eligibility system including setup and maintenance for new and renewing individual and employer group business * Group set up, structure changes and revisions, researching & resolving structure issues, database loading, and preparation * May research installation issues & develop customer specific resolutions including auditing contract loads for adherence to quality measures and reporting standards * Test contract installations / implementations to ensure successful operation prior to their implementation / deployment * Enter and review testing for projects and Facets system upgrades * Documentation of configuration, training materials, flows, quality assurance tasks * Maintain professional presentation and ability to keep information confidential * Demonstrate understanding of relevant software applications (e.g., Facets, SharePoint; Outlook; Excel; Word; Visio; MS Project; Access) * Enter relevant data (e.g. Member information codes; benefits changes; new information) into customer documents based on design specifications * Provide test results to relevant internal partners in order to facilitate needed corrections / clarifications * Partner with system Analysts & other members of project team to provide training solutions, identify, troubleshoot and resolve issues Required Qualifications: * High School Diploma / GED (or higher) * 1 years of Customer service experience analyzing and solving customer problems * Proficiency with Microsoft Suite including Word (creating and editing documents), Excel (knowledge of formulas and vlookup), and Access (knowledge of database and how to format information) Preferred Qualifications: * 6 months of experience with Case Installation * 1 years of experience with FACETS Application * Healthcare experience Soft Skills: * Proven to be proactive, self - motivated, detailed oriented, and work with minimal supervision or support * Demonstrate effective time management skills to effectively plan, organize, set priorities, meet deadlines and handle multiple work assignments * Excellent interpersonal skills, strong oral and written communication skills * Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize caseload based on business needs as well as ability and willingness to accept and work in a new and changing environment Physical Requirements and Work Environment: * Frequent speaking, listening using a headset, sitting, use of hands / fingers across keyboard or mouse, handling other objects, and long periods working at a computer * Service center environment with moderate noise level due to Representatives talking, computers, printers, and floor activity Careers at UnitedHealthcare Employer & Individual.
