KI has an immediate opening for an Installation Supervisor. This position will be based out of Charlotte, North Carolina or the surrounding areas.

The role will be responsible for the following:

  • Performing physical installation of product (new and warranty work)

  • Providing product technical support for field installations

  • Providing technical review of product issues in the field

  • Submitting proper paperwork for installations

  • Working with and training vendors in the field

  • Conducting installation meetings

  • Providing customer service/support in the field, including conduct pre- and post- installation walk-throughs and meetings

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Ability to understand and interpret floor plans and blueprints as well as strong mechanical aptitude

  • Excellent customer service skills and communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Strong administrative, organizational and technical skills including Word and Excel

  • Comprehension of installation process from start to finish (preferred)

  • Ability to travel extensively (approximately 80% - 100% of time, including overnight travel) within North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and potentially other states

  • KI provides a leased vehicle for travel needs if mileage meets minimum standards

  • Ability to work nights and weekends as needed

Relocation assistance is not budgeted for this position. Organizational Relationship The Customer Service Associate reports to the Customer Service Supervisor. Accountabilities * Answer customer calls. * Enter customer orders using our designated systems (such as AS400 & OFS). * Complete appropriate paperwork associated with entering and processing customer orders. * Manage the billing and ship-off functions for all completed orders. * Maintain a working knowledge of company-required computer software and other office equipment. * Ability to travel as business needs require. Limited travel is currently expected for this position. * Prep payroll for approval – (Vet Installer Error's off Incomplete Reason code – short pay – confirm installs are in proper pay period. (Chip to provide final approval). Email pay stubs to subs. * Send daily Quality walk report to FSRs follow up on open Walks manage territory sharing between all FSR's and markets to get the most yield. * Review and send out Orders Sitting report * Review weekly Incomplete Reason report to spot trends and review with Manager. * Assign installers daily * Handle escalated service issues including large Back Charges from customers needed delivery fee for dry runs escalated Service concerns Pre / Post close. * Consistently demonstrates the 6 for Success: Be trustworthy Commit to your team Listen to understand Serve your customer Prepare and plan and Deliver the result. * Other duties incidental or regular may be assigned at management's discretion. Characteristics & Attributes * Customer focus and orientation – overall customer satisfaction is the ultimate goal. * Strong detail orientation and accuracy of work is required. * Ability to positively interact and communicate with customers both internal and external. * Ability to read analyze and interpret general business information documents and regulations in the English language. * Ability to write reports business correspondence and procedural information. * Ability to effectively present information and respond to inquiries from associates customers and the general public. * Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as prices discounts interest commissions proportions and percentages. * Ability to solve practical problems and deal with variables in situations where standardized methods and procedures may exist but customer requirements and work situations may vary. * Previous related employment experience preferably in the cabinet industry is preferred. * Computer literacy including experience using Microsoft Office software programs such as Microsoft Word and Excel. Previous AS400 experience is preferred. * Experience with multi-tasking and prioritizing in a fast-paced team environment.
