Champion has an opening for a Patio Room Installation Assistant. This position supports the lead installer in the construction of patio rooms including wall, window, door, support structures, and roof installation.

Job Responsibilities:

Assists the lead installer in the installation of the job to ensure a Champion quality job is done in a timely and safe manner

Interacts with Champion customers in a professional manner

Loads materials onto truck while lead installer reviews job specifications

Unloads and assembles frames and assists in the unloading of truck

Learns aspects of lead installer's responsibilities

Contributes to a positive and fair team environment


High School diploma or GED equivalent

Prior experience in construction and skilled labor involving carpentry, roofing, windows installation, use of a brake as well as hand tools such as an utility knife, hammer, deglazing tools, etc.

Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with customers

Basic arithmetic abilities including using a tape measure

Detail oriented

Clean driving record, with the ability to regularly operate and manage the maintenance of a fleet vehicle

They are looking to add a talented High Voltage Installation & Service Technician to their team in Illinois. The High Voltage Installation & Service Technician is responsible for the overall development and implementation of various installation and maintenance services. The person in this position will provide these services in the field at customer sites as well as in the Standby Power System Consultants corporate facility. Reporting Relationship: The High Voltage Installation & Service Technician reports to the Director of Service Location: Woodridge, IL, 60517 Responsibilities/Accountabilities: * Installation/removal/repair and maintenance/testing of large stationary battery systems, rectifiers/chargers and dc power systems * Adheres to the installation and maintenance methods and standards per IEEE * Working with electrical test equipment * Preparation of electronic test reports * Demonstrates proper operation of basic tools and test equipment * Supplies and organizes trucks with all equipment necessary to perform job functions at various sites. * Proactively stays up to date on safety training, compliance and knowledge of HAZ MAT and DOT requirements * Continually trains and develops to advance to next levels of Installation and Field Technician * Conforms to all safety standards and has a dedication to working safely * Perform other assignments as assigned Requirements: Skills/Knowledge * Ability to take direction, communication and supervision from upper levels of Installation and Field Technicians, Service Manager, and assigned Project Manager * Excellent communication and customer service skills * Excellent attendance record Personal Attributes * Demonstrates honesty and integrity in work and relationships * Demonstrates servant-based principles with internal and external customers * Demonstrates innovation/creativity in work * Possesses strong work ethic and takes ownership of both company and client goals/objectives * Focused on understanding, meeting and exceeding customer expectations * Focused on collaboration and team work for the mutual success of the company and its employees Posting Qualifications: * High school diploma or equivalent * Minimum 2-years Electrical degree or equivalent experience preferred * Ability to work at various heights * Ability to lift 150 pounds repetitively * Ability to obtain Class C Commercial Drivers License with Hazardous Material Endorsement within 90 days of hire * Must pass a physical exam, background check and drug test within 90 days of hire Travel expectations: * Required travel to customer sites out of town for overnight and/or extended periods of time Cortalent Chicago IL
